Strategic / Leadership Team

Background Information

Background Information
For over 30 years the Servant of the Lord,James Andika has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in Africa, America,India ,Asia and Europe largely through print, Conferences,Evangelistic and Revival Campaigns. The ministry has grown from a local church to an international ministry. It is against this background that the man of God must be supported to realize to the fullest the vision God has given him. Hence the “Vision Carriers” or “Vision Enabling Team” was born in 2010.
The team echoes the IRC Vision which God gave James , thus creating a steady base of consistent Prayer support necessary to accomplish the spiritual assignment. This Vision is embodied in Jesus Christ’s Great Commission ( Mathew 28:18-20), which can be summarized as;

1. To propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Primarily through the media of EN MASSE EVANGELISTIC AND HEALING CRUSADE MINISTRY especially in the needy , neglected and underprivileged regions of the world.

2. To train and equip pioneer national leaders as they pastor new churches which arise from the fruits gleaned in crusades.

3. To provide Bibles , Christian literature and various forms of teaching resources for the advancement, strengthen and faith building of all in our Evangelistic Campaigns, seminars and leadership trainings.

4. To generate support and network relief efforts for the poor and the underprivileged members of society. These include special projects such as medical, education, rehabilitation, feeding, HIV/AIDS and nutrition

The purpose of the Vision Carriers:

The purpose of the Vision Carriers:
Allow me to draw your attention to an interesting episode that is recorded in Exodus 17:8-16. During the fierce battle Amalek in Rephi-dim Moses ,Aaron and Hur we’re on the top of the hill while Joshua was on the battlefield. The Bible records that “…But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.”
One could wonder ,if Moses’ hands were tired , he could have told Aaron and Hur to lift up their hands instead ! Or Aaron and Hur should have thought their Four hands were better than the Two hands of Moses, and so could have thought it wise to lift theirs! Instead they chose to hold the two tired hands of Moses to remain lifted on high.

What was the secret behind the hands of Moses!? They were the only hands that God had anointed for that particular task at that moment. They were the hands that God recognized and honored. Hence Aaron and Hur acted as enablers to the the purpose God wanted to accomplish through Moses. Through their enabling process Moses hands remained lifted and the results was , “ Joshua destroyed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword .” In our context , I feel the hands of His servant James Andika are the ones to be lifted and not ours.

From this episode we can draw this lessons:
The Primary purpose of the vision Carriers is, to enable the man of God carry out the God gave him to the fullest. Vision Bearers or Vision Enablers are visible in the scriptures. When Jethro visited Moses during the wilderness journey , he advised him to choose people to help him carry the vision God had given him ( cf. Exodus 18:13-26). But genesis of the vision Carriers is seen in Exodus 7:1-13, here God chose Aaron to be Moses’ Enabler or Vision Carrier to enable Moses to realize the plan of God to deliver children of Israel from the hand of Pharaoh in Egypt.

The vision carriers are to read the vision of the man of God or woman of God and run with it(Cf.Habakkuk 2:2). They are to interstate the vision and implement it.

They are to be stewards of the vision of the servant of God ( Luke 19:11-26). As stewards of the vision,we have an obligation to ensure that the necessary strategies and resources are developed to sustain ever growing Ministry. We do have a duty to ensure that the ministry born out of the vision is not only propelled but also made relevant to the ever fragile society.

The Team’s Strategy:

The Team’s Strategy:
In the early stages of the church , the apostles could manage her by themselves but as the work increased it became increasingly hard for them to serve the believers effectively. There were complaints because of the Hebrainic Jews widows being neglected in daily food distribution.

The apostles reasoned among themselves and resolved not to serve the tables inexpense of the “Ministry of the Word of God.” They agreed to choose seven men full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom to take over this responsibility ( Cf.Acts 6:1-7). This was a strategy they used to ensure the Holistic Gospel Ministry is carried out without delay ( see the Great Commission call in Mathew 28:18-20 cf. Acts 1:8). It was also meant to ensure that comprehensive and quality services were rendered to people. The result was efficiency and accountability in the Ministry without wearing the the apostles.
It is in this regard that our “ Vision Carrier’s Strategy Team is born in the course of carrying out the mandated Ministry of IRC . The team is to ensure that the work of Ministry is carried out efficiently this giving the vision bearer, James Andika enough time to oversee the realization of the vision God laid in his heart. This will ensure efficient, accountability and enhance wise stewardship to the resources God brings to the Ministry.

To achieve these tenets, the vision carrier strategy Team has divided the work as follows;

1. Vision Bear & Oversight; charged with Resource mobilization, fundraising and international relations.
2. Vision bearer’s nurture.
